ugh! Time Warner will be knocking at my door!
"Time Warner: Bandwidth hogs, pay up!"

yea, I know I know. I'm one of those bandwidth hogs. I probably transfer more data in a day than you do in a month. I knew it wouldn't last for long. Oh well.

It figures that TW would pull something like this. That's why I'm switching to a tiny little DSL provider with outstanding customer service and a reasonable price. AT&T Broadband can suck it.
i have comcast.net (formerly comcast@home)... and the max up i have is 15k/sec... don't think i could even transfer that much data so i WOULD have to pay more... blah, i hate capped up's

Blarg those cawksmugglers at Time Warner already ripped away 4/5ths of the bandwidth I paid for in the beginning, now I gotta limit how much I download as well? I guess this might be the thing that finally gets my lazy butt to switch over to dsl and a dish of some kind.
15 k /sec?? With a cable modem!??! Whats the point? You may want to check out www.speedguide.net and see if there are ways to remove the cap. It has been a while, but you may still be able to remove it client side.
If Time Warner actually does this to me, I'll just switch to DSL. I've been happy with the cable modem service I've had so far, but if they are going to start charging more than they already do, then I'll just switch.
