Why not just stay home, fill the tub w/ water and throw in couple live fish from the market in there, then fish?

 

If you looked at the holes in the ice you would have noticed that it is in the neighborhood of 8-10 inches thick. You can drive cars on that, as a matter of fact we used to have races in the harbor of the town I lived in "up north."

I grew up in Minnesota. There's a lake there called Mille Lacs that has 3 bedroom houses towed out on it every year. Thousands of ice houses. Thousands of fisherman. People selling food and stuff ou in the middle of the lake. Hookers work the lake (in case the fishings bad)

Lakes 20 miles across...fishings best in the middle. Ice would get 4 or more feet thick.
