ive got a frozen lake across the street, with a few shanties...havent tried the sport myself...

I've done ice racing and some of those guys bring their motorhomes out there, plus full size trailers with multiple cars.

My dad had a full size Dodge Ram diesel pickup with a trailer with three race cars on it and had no issue whatsoever parking it on the ice. The ice is usually a couple feet thick at a minimum. They have a full-size snowplow that has to weigh 25000 lbs that clears the track at some of the venues...

What's weird is when you heard it snapping due to frost/extreme cold. You think the bottom is going to drop out from under you.
