This was the first mod I did on the car. Still there after 8 months. I put locktite on the threads just for the heck of it. My car is silver and I really like it, but then again, I'm the only one who needs to like it.

 

Blah ... Some people get so emotional over something so trivial. What? Trying to defend that you made a good purchase or something? Hah! I'm not the only one commenting that it's not ideal ... Just accept opinions if you expect to posting for replies, I don't think it was meant to be a "Wow, impressive" thing anyway.

I just got mine ripped off yesterday in the middle of the day in my office parking lot......

screw the radio... it's all about the cd player!!! i'm tired of getting my antenna ripped off. i have a replacement, but i just leave it off most of the time.

as S2R said, it's all about an imbedded antenna!

 

wow, how many of you have gotten your antennas stolen??? i haven't had any problems, but i park far away from the masses and my neighborhood is pretty good.

 

I think its a growing problem for everyone with an S that either uses it as a daily driver or parks it in public a lot.....

Scared to death to take it to the mall......

$15 bucks for a antenna is not really a big issue,
The fact that someone has the guts to steal that though raises concern that they may go a bit farther next time....

It happened to me and I have a high end alarm with a big blue flashing LED on the car with a proximity sensor and live/work in a really nice area...

But I guess crime can happen anywhere.....
