In light of the horrific events that went down on 9-11
- should the US Grand Prix still be held?
- could all the teams and equipment actually get their stuff flown in?
- how safe would people feel once there?
- how many people will not show up because they have to fly there?
- will the race happen?

I'm going too, I'm just wondering what others are thinking.
There has been a lot of debate in the F-1 community!
ElTianti- you driving the S2000 or flying there, but wait, maybe they are the same

No, My brother and I are driving from MD with my 98 Z24 (daily driver). It has more trunk space, gets better mileage and is happy with whatever gas I put in the tank. It's just the thing for a 500 mile trip
I thought about flying but the flights were 5+ hours (layovers in Cleveland and Puddle Jumpers from Cleveland to Indy). So I decided to drive. I'm leaving Thursday afternoon so I can make Friday practice.
My cooler's always full of beer, so stop by if you want.
I'm at Stand J row W seat 3 and 4

NJTom, me, Gregg, Greg Stevens, and two friends of ours will all be there. We have rented a condo and the party's at our place, so if you're planning on going, watch for details on location!
And because it came up, I'm driving up and flying back (leaving the S2000 in Chicago, long story). I don't have any fear of flying; once they have the initial delays and other organizational stuff figured out, this will be the safest time ever to be flying the friendly skies!

It looks like there's confusion about who will and will not turn up for the USGP. An article on the BBC Motorsport web page says:
---------------------------
Ferrari announced it will run unbranded cars, without sponsors' logos, in its home race as a mark of respect.
A spokesman for FIA, the sport's governing body, said: "There is no plan to cancel future grands prix."
But Schumacher called on Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone to scrap the race at Indianapolis on 30 September. The Williams-BMW driver also said the Monza race should not be taking place.
"It is a bad joke intending to go to the United States and racing there," said the 26-year-old German. "I do not think it is safe and I, for sure, will not be taking my family and friends.
---------------------------
That last paragraph implies that Schumacher may not be attending, which (IMO) will be even more likely if he ends up winning at Monza this weekend. Another article also mentioned that ticket sales have slumped because of Tuesday's attacks.

I'll share my seat location specifics next week, they are not with me.
I'm in Northwest Vista this year.
I will be camping across the road, sorry Jordan and BAR, I will be flying the Ferrari flag!
