Anyone who hurts a dog should be kicked in the weiner really hard. The worse you hurt the dog, the more you get kicked in the weiner. Sounds fair to me.

Hey I love dogs .... but that story has an "interesting" twist thru it.

One of our family friends has a dog that the previous owner used to beat really hard ... and it's such a gorgeous Kolli (is thathow you spell it?).

Everytime I pat her she jumps cause she's so scared of a hand. ... now THAT owner needs to have his weiner removed permanently!!!

I just hope the guy ends up in a prison shower somewhere and accidently drops his soap. He'll wish somebody had thrown him into traffic.

If this guy goes to prison, it's gonna be a sad day for the so-called "land of the free".
This is ridiculous.

Why's that? If someone did that to my dogs I would probably end up in jail for beating them to death. I hope this guy rots.

What an a$$hole. I mean, it is ok to be mad if someone hits your car, but why kill a dog. I hope he gets three years. I used to have a bichon frise, they are so cute and wouldn't hurt anyone.

It seems like there had to be better things to do with $120,000 in reward money and the year of police/DA/court's time. I'm sure you could have treated 10,000 kids in Mexico for drug-resistant tuberculosis for the cost of prosecuting a jerk for killing a dog.

Tanq (and I love my Keeshond)

Wake up guys!! It's only a f**king animal!!
Should we send hunters to prison? Fishermen?
Where do you draw the line between an animal that can die without anyone noticing (btw my apologies to the families of the bugs I killed against my front bumper last weekend), and an other animal whose death is a giant drama, nearly equivalent to a human loss?
One of the arguments used by the lady's defence is the fact that she loved her dog and misses it... WTF?!!!
The guy should just apologize, maybe get a fine, and anyway the lady already has another dog, proof that it's just a replacable 'toy' for her.
Again, this is ridiculous.

Yes Sir, I wholeheartly agree with you on this observation. When we start placing the life of an animal over that of the freedom of a man or women for that matter, we better reassess what we are all here for. I own a dog and I love it also, but it's not a human being. I also am responsible for it's actions so I don't put it in those situations. The judge who would even suggest trying such a case should be dismissed. This is perverse!
