Vacations....
Well SD_S2K you are right about my financial situation but I have done well and the credit card is almost paid off. Also I have started to save money which is good also.
My father offered me a trip and all my girl and I would have to do is have spending cash for the most part. Nov is her birthday and I know she likes to shop but I think maybe Italy would be out of the question since you're right about the weather and it being only a high of 45 there.
Where would it be ideal for thanksgiving week to go since her birthday is during that period? Cruise be the best thing?

November is spring in Buenos Aires, the shopping is good in Recoleta for high-end Euro and Amer styles, and on Sunday there is a big artist's bazaar, the marina is revitalized with shops, Tigre has a huge Saturday bazaar where locals shop and its interesting to walk around, and the street malls south of the touristy Florida St Mall near Plaza St. Martin have tons of shopping too.
Plus, the exchange rate is pegged at 3 AR pesos = 1 US dollar. Continental partners with Delta, shich flies to Argentina. Buenos Aries is considered the Paris of the Southern Hemisphere - its people hail from Spain and Italy and the food and culture reflects that. Its leather workers are renown and you can get tailored leather jackets for $120 US and up, the Malbec wines are excellent with the Argentine beef - considered the best tasting in the world - and the traditional gelato is amazing.
