Video game violence, how much is too much?

If a kids screwed up in the head, parents should know not to buy them Resident Evil 4. My parents knew I'm not a lunatic, so they didn't care what video game I played. I enjoyed Resident Evil 2 to the fullest extent, and earlier than that I was playing Doom and the like. It's fun/ny to blow off a zombie's head, but I know it's not fun/ny to shoot someone in real life.
i been playing those types of games since i was little, my parents never minded
i have never been violent towards anyone and never wanted to cause harm to anyone.
i wonder if its the videogames or something else..
but if your kid is acting like this one : http://youtube.com/watch?v=KZ1ZMJu37q8
lol take it away from him! and get him some help fast!...XD
so ya..i agree with you..if your kid is a lunatic tell him to chill his balls and dont get him gnarly games haha
+1 all about the parenting. This is not much different than choices of books, movies, or extracurricular activities. Government and laws should not apply beyond creating and enforcing a rating system (that parents can bypass as desired), IMO.
Plain and simple, if your kid is the type to bully others, or harass and torment them, maybe gets in a lot of trouble at school, can't seem to understand the reality around them, don't go out and buy them Grand Theft Auto for Christmas!!
hentaiboy, i think that kid has more of an addiction problem than a projection of violence from video games to the real world
