He's a extremely nice guy. He owns The Broken Egg, a local restaurant, much like a First Watch. He eats there almost every day. We talk to him and he has no problems talkin to complete strangers. One day, he's sitting next to my friend and I as we're having lunch there. We're the only other people sitting outside eating other than him and his friend. Out of no where, he asks us how we're doing. We start talking to him and he offers to sign some hooters posters that he was on. He asked who to make mine out to and my friend spoke for me and said "Tampa Tom." Dickie V says "TAMPA TOM!!! I LOVE IT!!!"

Sure enough, two weeks later, I'm driving down the Lakewood Ranch Blvd., the main road in our city. Who is at the stop light right next to me in a bright red SL500? Dickie V.

I look over at him while he's listening to talk radio. I said "Dickie V baby what's up!?" He said "Tampa Tom! How are you!?" I was kind of shocked. Guy remembers me and yells "Tampa Tom anytime he sees me at his restaurant.

Stand up guy IMO.

He sent his daughter to Notre Dame. I used to see him occasionally when I went to football games. The fans are bugging him all the time but he is really a good sport about it and pretty friendly with the average person. Same with Regis when he goes to games.
