Default Vizio Plasmas

I'm thinking about upgrading my old 37inch Panasonic Plasma from 3 years ago. I hardly watch any tv unless its sports or movies when i have a chance. I was at costco and i noticed that the vizios there are pretty much and look pretty decent. Anyone here own one and had any issues? will i be happy with the vizio?

No. The vizios have really poor contrast ratios as well very grey blacks. AVSforum has all the info you could ever want on TVs and such.

If youre big into bluray and 1080 and watch tons of TV/movies, you may want to invest in something a little more "state of the art". If youre looking for a decent HD TV at a decent price then I think Vizio is a great TV.

This Panasonic is awesome, great price and free shipping. What is your price range and size you're looking for.

I'd stick to Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung plasmas. Can't go wrong with those three brands. Everything else falls behind.. some brands way behind (vizio). The set linked above is excellent.

I have a 50" Vizio plasma 720i and it works fine for me. I don't watch movies (ever) so I was not to concerned about the lack of 1080. I watch mainly sports and have zero complaints.

I'd step up to the LCD, but then I'm into excellent picture quality, fine details, good color contrasts, no blurring, & no heating up the room.

Took back the Plasmas and got the LCDs and have never looked back

Seriously tho, get the best you can afford. There is just more and more of the HD stuff out there and soon, very soon, you will be dissatisfied with anything that you "made do" with.

Um.. lol? Then you woke up and realized top plasmas have better pq, better color accuracy, better color saturation, better static contrast, and less blurring.. or no?
