Have a question....what's the best way to sneak booze onto the ship. I'm definitely going to pregame at night before hitting up the bar :LL:
I can tell you the best way NOT to sneak it onto the ship. My father tried sneaking some Glenlivet on the ship in a camelbak. He only succeeded making a great bottle of single malt scotch taste like plastic!

A friend of mine filled a 2 liter coke bottle with JD. They are similar in color so the security guys didn't even notice it! You can also bring your own wine on the ship, so put liquor in wine bottles and force the corks back in.

Get creative.

In about 6 months or so me and my GF have been talkin about going on a cruise. She has never been and neither have I. I live in Cincinnati and we would want to go to a bahama cruise for 6-7 days. I dont care what room we get really. Ocean view would be nice. What am I looking to spend? It seems most are in the range of 400-500 for the whole trip. Does that include food? What else would I have to get setup (passports, etc) How much should I expect to spend? Whats a good cruise? Let me know guys. Thanks
Word of advice....don't stand close to the railings.

I have been on a few cruises and you should always go with the newer ships. I have only gone on Royal Caribbbean and they experience has always been great.

You can check the reviews of the various ships and see what ranks they get. The newer ships are pretty much always the biggest so there are a lot of people, but the rooms are nicer, etc.

You'll have a blast, the only expensive part is the alcohol and then doing some of the excursions. We loved the 4-wheeling in Cozumel and doing jet skis in Haiti (I sold my ski's a couple years ago and really miss them)

Ive found that Carnival was more inclined to encourage partying and overall asshattery than Royal Carrbbean was.

Maybe it was just the crowd

Carnival is one big party all week. I couldn't tell if I was stumbling around due to the seas or the booze!

Glad to read that about Carnival guys b/c thats what I"m going on

But I'm still going to have to smuggle some booze on there to at least save me a few $$ while I'm there b/c I can get out of control when it comes to consumption

Booze smuggling is the way to go. Have each person going pack a bottle and you should be good. Not enough to piss off security but enough to keep the alcohol bill at a semi-tolerable level

I like the whiskey in a coke bottle idea as well

Maybe I can take some grain alcohol in a water bottle
