wat up with margarine
a professor of mine once told me that it is a few molecules from being plastic and that it is really bad for you on a toxic level instead of a fat level.
anyone know anything about it?

Most compounds can be changed into extremely different substances with the addition/deletion/change of a few molecules. If it was toxic I don't think they'd let it be sold in stores. Besides, you're not supposed to use a tub of margarine every time you cook. Anything in excess is bad.

I'm merely pointing your your assumption that bad things aren't sold. Toxic things are sold in stores all the time. Sometimes for years before people realize that it's bad/toxic and recall the product.
I'll add one more "lead paint".
