I am an advocate of buying from AD's.
But in this case, the deal is too hot to pass up. Anyone know specifically what movement Baume and Mercier uses for the City Chrono?
List is $3295
I almost picked this up in the Bahamas for $2500
Was quoted $2000 at my local Bailey Banks

The movement is an ETA 2894. It's a commonplace movement, easy to service and parts are cheap and easy to find. See link:

B&M are always heavily discounted, but your final price is the lowest I've seen for a new one. If you like it, go for it! It's a nice watch.
