I didn't know Omega made a watch with tourbillon movement. Also, is that a retrograde dial? I can't tell from the picture. Are you buying the watch? If so how much? Keep in mind that tourbillon watches are usually VERY expensive ($30K+) so if it's on sale for a few thousand, something's not right.

Oh yeah, the rotor seems awfully simple in design for a supposedly high end watch.

It does not look very real to me.
The cage does not look Tourbillon at all and the screw in back does not look very real also semi Rolex, semi Omega ????.
The indications inside (moonphase and 24hour dial) increase the price of a real tourbillon watch, est. 50000 $ ++
Most of the tourbillon watches are manual winding, automatic Tourbillon is another price increaser.
My oppinion is that this watch is fake.

It doesn't look real to me.

That is a Speedmaster bracelet. I am sure that they wouldn't lift the bracelet from one watch on to another that would be worth so much.

Also having been through numerous Omega and Tourbillon web sites, I have found nothing similar to that at all.

I would be very careful if you are thinking of buying that one.....

Tourbillon is a special kind of device (tourbillon regulator) in the watches movement, invented by Abraham Louis Breguet in 1795 and patented in 1801.
This device eliminates the influence of earth's gravity to the balance and all the moving parts of the watch and it makes a very accurate watch movement.
Today still Tourbillon remains a technical achievement and only the very skillful of watchmakers are able to built such a movement, that is why remains very expensive.

Technically speaking:
It consists of a round carriage, or cage, containing the balance wheel which determines the movement's beat and the escapement that releases the mechanical energy stored in the mainspring. As the tourbillon carriage rotates on itself with absolute regularity, the balance wheel and escapement successively assume every vertical position - those most subject to gravitational pull - so that the resulting rate errors cancel each other out instead of accumulating.

I collect watches and while Omega is not on my list of collectibles, I am not familiar with a Omega Tourbillion. The watch is almost certainly a replica. I have seen a very similar design on a replica Franck Muller.

Don't go near this watch. Also, Tourbillions in stainless steel are extremely rare and are almost always special orders or very limited runs. For the effort involved in assembly, tourbillions are nearly always a precious metal (gold, white gold or platinum). They are an absolute work of art.

I knew I'd find one in an auction site! Check this out and as I said, don't go near this Omega.

The Franck Muller in this auction has almost exactly the same features as the Omega you're looking at
