Love this watch! I'm not a Tag fan, in general, but the Carrera lineup is exactly the style of watch I like. Wide case, chronograph style, flat profile, and with the date included.

TAG Group acquired Heuer in ~1985, and garishness ensued. Prior to this, Heuer was known for clean, usable watches and their association with racing and scientific endeavors.

i am a "watch" equivalent of a "car enthusiast", which i think all of us are.

I used to be pretty into watches, but it can become a big time wallet drainer. And what I own is nowhere NEAR the upper end of the cost spectrum. When I seriously began contemplating a minute repeater and/or tourbillon, I knew it was time to stop...

I have a few more than those pictured. Of all my watches the IWC pictured is my favorite. If I were to sell all but one that would be the one I'd keep. And if I were to buy another watch it would probably be one of the variations of an IWC Pilot.
I have an older TAG quartz chrono. It's ok, but once I bought my first mechanical I was hooked. There's just something special about them.
