not everyone cares about cares. Some of the wealthiest people i know drive average cars. The watch expert of all my acquaintances is a guy who drives a camry every day. Yet he has many patek's, IWC, JLC; etc. He has over 100 high end watches. his "daily" watch is a $50,000 patek.

At a time when Western watch designers try to convince the world that good taste means spending thousands of dollars, true watches show that elegance is a mindset, not a price tag.

With that said, here is my daily

Apparently you've never heard of Poljot, Seiko, or Citizen. Definitely not Western companies and definitely selling watches that cost thousands of dollars.

I daily wear a Hamilton Khaki Action Auto.

The watches you just named are Japanese and therefore fall under western category, as Japan is closer related to USA then say Central Asia.

?!?

Poljot is Japanese, not Russian? Japan is "closer related" to the USA? What watch brands are you talking about that are distinctly "Eastern," and what globe are you looking at that puts Japan off the coast of California?

I think you are the only person who thinks Japan is part of the "Western" world and culturally more similar to the USA than the rest of Asia.

My daily watch is a Speedmaster Day/Date

But I also buy lots of older automatics off Ebay. I sell some, but keep the special ones. Here's a few shots of some I've picked up.

Some worth more than others.

There are lots of deals to be had, but takes some research to be sure you're not buying a POS

This one has a Patek movement. Super score

Those are some nice pieces, Mindcore, thank you for sharing. I *really* like the VC, but any one of them would be my favorite watch if I owned it.

The VC is my favourite too. I find used watches go in waves. You can pick up great Girard's for ridiculous prices and have a world class watch for the price of a Timex...and if it's for show, guys in the know will know you're wearing high end.
