I guess my threads cause a lot of controversy. Let me clarify a little bit. Upon meeting her, she thought she had beat her Leukemia. I stayed in touch with her because she was the one who would be giving me the money for the motorcycle. While doing this, her dad passed away, and I helped cheer her up followed by the cancer coming back with all the complications along the way.
My cell phone bill is set on a limited # of minutes, and I went WAY over that and I didnt even think about it until it was too late. I will start with where I told my friend in Japan that I was talking to this girl. The only way we talk while he is there is on AIM. I finally caught him online one night and I updated him on her status as far as her health was concerned. (They have been broken up for about a month at this point) From here I told him that I wanted to talk to him about something else. I explained everything I just did to you guys but in more detail. He understood completely, which surprised me. I told him I would understand if you didnt want to talk to me, ect ect ect.. but I said I thought he should at least know about it, instead of finding out later.
The next day he messaged me on facebook saying he needs some time and he doesnt think he can speak to either of us.. he wishes us the best and says he will talk to me later. I understand his situation completely and I still feel bad about it. So the next day her and I are on the phone at night and he begins blowing up both of our phones with phone calls. He probably called me about 5 times.

He then says "Well, thats the thing.... we never hung out" I find this really hard to believe because my friend was about to wire this girl 5k for my bike 3 months prior. Who would send money to someone they have never met? All of this wasn't making sense to me so I just told my friend that I wasn't calling him a liar, but his information wasn't concrete.. they were just stories.
From here I called the girl back and the first thing I asked her (in conversation of course) was how many times they hung out. She told me, "Um about 4 times when he was back on leave" I then mentioned the jist of what he was saying to her and she got really upset telling me that she can't believe he said that about her and how he was one of the only people she trusted and how hurtful that was to her.
At this point I wasnt really sure who to believe, but it was easier to see that my friend was lying because he had more of a motive to do so. I am always open to information until its proven otherwise so I didn't shut the possibilty out.
I talked with him the next day more and he told me how one of our mutual friends saw this girl at a sea food place with friends on the day that she had her "heart and brain surgery" (which she did not wake up from until several hours after) He said that our friend said that the girl that is in the old myspace pictures was the real girl. I am getting pretty worked up at this point because seeing her in person was never an issue for me because I was under the impression that my friend hung out with her on multipule occasions. I mean, she was about to meet me up to bring me money for the motorcycle.
Still, I had no proof.. nothing concrete.. was this girl lying about EVERYTHING? Or was my friend lying to try to cause conflict between us? I had to find out for myself.
