Default weird .com name on my bank statement

i just checked my bank statement online and there is a checkcard purchase on the 1st from a .com called meetyourmessenger.com
i googled the site and it seems to be a site from the u.k.........sorta like a dating site i guess.
i have never seen this before and it charged me $12.71.............i am concerned, not only because have i never seen this,.....and no i didnt sign up for it when i was drunk or anything,.......but also because a few things came up as a "phishing" site.
my question is since i cant get a hold of my bank to look into it right now is,............how would something like that get my account number and why charge such a weird amount??(to avoid detections?????)
i just went and changed all my passwords not that it helps if they already got it but should i shut down that bank account??? i only got 9 bucks in this one right now so i am not concerned tooooo much at the moment

One of the first steps people take when they steal your card # is to run a small charge through your account to see if it will be accepted and secondly to see if you are aware enough to catch the transaction. I would call your bank and either put your card on fraud alert or have the bank cancel and issue you a new card.

I did some research. meetyourmessenger.com is one of the alias's for a company that promises to hook you up with anonymous gay sex. You pay the fee and they hook you up with a lover. So don't worry, your charge was legit.
