Explain this cesspool? Surely there are some rules/laws against having/knowing you have a nonworking or nonexistant septic system.

Seriously though I've got nothing.
They'd probably like it if somebody did that.

Well, no matter how nice a neighborhood you move into, you can never get away from the douchebag factor. The only way is to go Unibomber style in the some hut somewhere out in the country.

I built a house in a new development several years back, thought it would be fairly decent, but my neighbor decided to get three huge dogs and tie them up in one spot so the dogs wore the whole backyard lawn down to the mud from runnining back and forth in the same square footage all day long. The front yard was foot high well tended dandelions. I was actually less offended by all of the giant plastic kids toys all over the lawn then I was by the red Aztek parked in the driveway.

I saw the handwriting on the wall and moved when I thought the value had peaked into a neighborhood that was one step up on the price ladder. The builder sold to a bunch people with no incomes. My immediate neighbor was a very nice guy that I liked, but they gave him a mortgage with zero down at $450k and he was a laborer at a lumber yard. This guy was a great neighbor but since the builder approved everybody, lots of foreclosures and white trash.

My friend bought in the neighborhood across the street which was a development in the $800k range and one of the homes foreclosed and was rented to meth dealers. The dealers threatened to kill some of the people in the neighborhood. They were evicted after a year but destroyed the home. Tore the cabinets out, smashed in the drywall.

Aonther guy with THE nicest house in a very expensive development build a pigeon coup on the side of his house. Not in his backyard where it would bother fewer people, but on the side where everyone could see it. People who paid nearly a million for their homes are living next to a pigeon coup.

My long winded point is twofold, first, does not matter how much you spend, you'll always eventually get a douche in your neighborhood. And secondly, we need a good plague. One that just targets lowlifes and morons and makes em go toes up by the dozen.

Security cameras (you need evidence for the cops) and a big dog will keep them at bay. Hard to make trash move away. They can take more abuse than you can.

You can't kill bad grass. I say just keep it up with calling any and every regulation dept. you can think of. Something's bound to happen.
