I've just been pricing up an M3 for when I need the extra seats....(kids and all that), gorgeous car and the SMG option looks huge fun but I can actually get lower finance payments on a 996 C2. They're have been a couple of UK reviews that have slightly criticised the M3s steering feel but aside from that it seems an awesome package

A guy I work with is on this 4th M3, he thinks they have never been as good as the original. Still, in his opinion the best sporting saloon on the market but the later the car, the more 'remote' the driving experience.
More horsepower does not always mean a better driving experience.
Plus, in the UK at least there are thousands of BMW's on the road, the M3 just doesn't stand out for the money you pay, as Tifosi says, the money you pay for a new Beemer, you're into serios secondhand supercar money.

Where I live BMW's are a dime a dozen. Most people think the M3 is just another 3 series. Nice car but I'll stick with my S2000.

I love it. It will probably be my next car. Obviously the performance/handling/options compromise is more in the direction of luxury and 3 series coupes are much more common than our S2000. However those facts don't deter me in the least.

Jimmy - Whats up? So you did not like my answer?
Have you bothered to tell these people they are speaking to the President of the UUNYBAS and your vision might be slightly clouded?
