He should have held his diuretic before the flight. And he shouldn't have tried to "push past" the flight attendant.

He was certainly targeted more than if he had been an 80-yo 5-ft tall white grandmother so he'll probably win his lawsuit.

The plane hijacking scare is out of whack. It is impossible to get weapons/bombs/knifes onto the plane, so when some dude stands up and says "i have a bomb, everyone shut the **** up or i will blow us all to hell", call bullshit and kick his ass.

if only it was that easy of course.

As to the topic, it sucks, but the guy pushed it. He knew when she first said something to him that he was being profiled. He was probably curious what a little flight attendant could do, and I will be damned if he didn't find out....though he should have known in the first place.

Um.. you serious? You could get weapons or parts of a bomb on a plane very easily. Hell, even news crews have gone undercover and snuck on suspicious looking components that highly resembled parts of a bomb. If those morons could do it, so could you. Not to mention a little thing called plastic.. hold it on your person. The 9/11 hijackers used box cutters.

99% of the 'security' post-9/11 is just theatre. it makes people feel safer, but really doesn't do anything to protect us.

I disagree. You going to sneak a bomb on the plane and do what? build it in your seat? If it was so easy to get a bomb/gun/actual weapon onto a plane, don't you think the terror dudes would have done it by now? With the exception of the shoe bomb loon of course.

That shit worked once I guess, 9/11, but I can't see it really working again, now that everyone knows its not a hostage situation, but a kamikaze mission...
