Okay, here's story. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I leave my friend's house and come back to my apartment at around 2:30am and realize I forgot to clean my cat's litter box. So I scoop up the crap, put it in a bag, etc. etc.. But as I'm opening the door to go to the dumpster, my cat runs outside, down the stairs, and under some bushes which is sort of close to another person's window, but not THAT close. Please note that leaving my cat outside is out of the question since she's spent her entire life inside and is extremely afraid of just about everything.

Anyway, I spend five minutes trying to coax her out of the bushes, finally snatch her, and then take her back to my apartment, leaving the bag of litter. So then I go back, grab the litter, throw it in the dumpster, and then make my way back. And that's when shit happens.

This naked guy in only his boxers, about 5'11", mid-30's, fairly muscular and quite angry comes running up to me all batshit like he's going to murder me. He starts yelling, "What the man!? What the were you doing outside my girlfriend's window?"

I then start explaining the situation very nicely and apologizing too. I say, "No man, I'm really sorry! My cat got out, etc etc. I wasn't looking in your girlfriend's window!" And as I'm explaining, he only starts getting angrier and angrier. So then I ask, "Look man, you have to believe me. I'm really sorry! Is there anything I can do!?"

He replies, "You better shut the up before I kick your ass and stomps away." Again, I apologize.

So then I go back into my apartment all freaked out. I'll admit I have a bit of an anxiety disorder and haven't been in anything resembling any type of fight since Junior high, which was like ten years ago. So okay, I'm sitting there and all of the sudden, I get a knock at the door and it's the guy and his girlfriend. Same old shit all over again. He starts yelling at me saying I was staring in his girlfriends window, hiding behind trees, blah blah blah. Again I apologize and explain the situation which only make him scream and totally go nuts and step at me like he's going to punch me. He then claims that I went back there twice to get another look at his girlfriend, but I just went back to grab the ing bag of litter that I left. I explain this, apologize (AGAIN). Seriously, I never even glanced up at the ing window.

So then he leaves saying he's going to "kick my ing ass" if I ever go near his girlfriend again, and the whole time his girlfriend is just standing there, speechless. Don't get me wrong, I understand his anger (somewhat), but the ing guy wouldn't let up.

Okay, so now, wtf do I do?? I seriously can't live in a place like this. This guy was ing crazy and I live almost next door to him. I will never feel comfortable in this place again. And I really think this guy is going to come after me again. The guy himself doesn't worry me so much as the fact that he knows where I live. I'm sure he has a lot of angry friends, too. Problem is, I just moved in and signed a year's lease about month ago. I don't want to just move to another apartment within the complex, I want to get the out of Dodge.

Any suggestions? This just happened about a couple hours ago. I'm going to go talk to the manager as soon as they get in. I live So Cal, BTW. Not russia.

 

He will probably cool off with a little time. This did happen last night right? If he continues to threaten you, tell the management of your complex and call the cops. That's what I would do.

But seriously, I'm actually worried about my car too, since we park in carports and not individual garages. And I forgot, he said he'll "be watching me" before he left. That's actually what freaked me out the most. I don't want to be spied on for s sake!

 

Relax! There's nothing you can really do. If he does something wrong to you or your car, the law will take care of it. Just go about your usual business. Afterall, who can blame him for freaking out when someone was peeping at his naked girlfriend, TWICE! Just kidding!

 

This guy will calm down as time passes and think of it this way, It is only a matter of time before the girl dumps his ass for being such an irrational ass - I mean if he handles every situation like this unless she is an abused woman she will wise up. I personaly would have him killed but that is just me (just kidding)
Definately talk to the manager of the complex and get it on record - Maybe the manager will even speak to one of them on your behalf explainig the situation and if things work out after he gets the boot maybe you can hook up with her and show her your Kitty

 

I think just let it cool down. Overtime, he'll see that you probably told the truth. If the manager talked to him, he'll freak out again, and probably take revenge on you or your car. Btw, abused women don't normally wise up until it's too late.
