Default What magazines should I subscribe to?

I want to spend some more effort in feeding my curiosity, so I've decided to get subscriptions to Wired, Scientific American, and Smithsonian. I've had subscriptions to them all in the past and really like them - there's always something interesting to read.

But are there any similarly oriented magazines that I haven't thought about?

I've found since the advent of the web my magazine subscriptions have dwindled considerably. You can usually find the info you're interested in if you just search around. I print off a number of articles in order to always have an ample supply of reading material.

stick with cars and motorcycle... who needs culture anyway

Since mag subscriptions are sooooo cheap (usually $10-$12 for a full year), I get everything..

(autoweek, motor trend, car & driver, Road & Track, Automobile, Motorcyclist, Truckin, Sport Compact Car, Super Street, Hot VW's, Max Power, Popular Science......and I usually buy a UK magazine or two at the local mag shop)

I hear "the globe" is pretty good

WHat I hate about subscriptions is 1)Paying a lot more for shipping to Canada 2) Them arriving very late.

besides car mags I use to get Discover it is put out by the Discovery Channel. At least I think that's the name of it. It is pretty good. I remember an interview with a guy in quantum mechanics who believed that time doesn't really exist it is just that we perceive that time exists so we assume it does. That life is just a collection of eternal moments that are stung together. Maybe the dude was watching Slaughter house five??
