Default What mobile service to you use? And what are the pros/cons?

I'm currently with Sprint PCS, and my contract runs up next month. I've been with them for a few years now. I am tired of their services and want something new. I've been waiting and arguing for a rebate I was supposed to receive LAST summer, but still they are "trying to work it out."

I get pretty clear range around my area so I'm quite pleased with that. It occassionally hangs up in certain areas, but that is sometimes expected.

So any of you have any good experiences with others and any recommendations? Thanks

Verizons probably the best in terms of service. It seems like they go above and beyond to make sure that their service works basically everywhere from what I have seen and experienced.

I have Sprint, and it cuts off sometimes which to me shows that they DO NOT go above and beyond to please their customer.

All carriers have areas with good service, and areas with poor service.

Time for me to have my input.. but others have already said what i was going to say.

It really depends on where you are located, how much you use it, what you are looking for, and the type of user you are.

Since most of my friends are on Verizon, it makes sense for me to be on Verizon, granted i work for them, but still, calls to pretty much 75% of them will be free. If you have tons of people on some other carrier, pick that. Every carrier has one or two good things about them.

I was checking the verizon coverage area and it seems REALLY good in my area. I also travel a lot so it takes care of pretty much a wide area across the country. I think I may go with Verizon.

I know that each company has their good and bad spots. I am not complaining about Sprint's coverage area, but I just think that their overall customer service quality sucks ASS! I get billed for the most bogus crap and have to always get things fixed and I'm sick of it. That's all...

Change is good

Can you hear me now?

Sprint is one of the worst company (not just phone company) I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Verizon customer service is so much better.

Did I mention that Sprint is bad?

Nextel. I can't remember all the pros and cons right now, but here are a few for the meantime... I'll post more of them as I remember 'em

Pros:
- DirectConnect
- Customer Service

Cons:
- Coverage area!
- Selection of available supported phones
- Lack of competitive pricing plans

Said it before and will say it again Verizon is the only way to go I have been using their service for 8yrs never got dumped of a call. My friends that have Tmobile, sprint, cingular and AT&T get cut of all the time. It's so funny at work when people are like I can't get a signal in here and have to go outside the store but my cell works like a charm. Everytime I ask what service they have let's just say they have the wrong one.
