Default What a night!.. hah!

So me and my wife headed out last night to my company holiday party. We get there a little late, but right on time for dinner to begin. We enjoyed our dinner and then the president of the company began doing a drawing. He was drawing employee names for random prizes such as a 42" Plasma TV.. Ipod Nano.. etc. etc.. all very nice prizes.

So he gets done with the prizes and moves on to drawing for cash, as he felt just the prizes were not enough. He starts drawing names for $500 cash.. 40 names to be exact.. still no mention of my name

He rolls on and decides, still, that isn't enough cash given out, so he decides to do 10 names for $1,000.. still, nothing for poor lil me. Hah..

He says still.. not enough.. does 4 names for $2,500.. last name called.. MINE! Hahaha yayyy.. :|

One lucky person after me won $10,000.. lucky bastard.

Anyways, we're headed home and suddenly I start hearing a wobble like the road has a million humps in it and I'm hitting every single one. Hearing this noise before, I pull over the the side of the freeway.. get out.. check out the tires.. FLAT driver rear.. NOOOOOOO!

All in all, we left at 10:30PM and didn't get home in bed until 2:45AM. Tried to put on the spare but the lugs werent long enough for the spare. Stupid aftermarket wheels and the wrong lugs! Tow truck brought us home..

Cliffnotes: Holiday party, drawing for prize/money. Won $2500 and won a free flat tire on the way home. Took about 4 hours to get home because of it.

My turn...I played Nintendo DS until my battery ran out. I was pissed, so I went to bed.

Cash outweighs the flat -- so you came out ahead. Congrats!

Gracias! That's the way I was thinking about it..

Said to myself this morning.. "This is God's way of checks and balances.. he can give you a lot but can also take it away.. " Kinda of to keep me in check and on the right path.

Just to be sure, you know you're supposed to replace the front wheel with the spare, and then move the front wheel to the rear, right?

BTW, congrats on the money.

You're a lucky guy!! I have the worst luck when it comes to draws and prizes. Most I have ever won was $5.00 from a scratch card.

Congrats!
