Lucky you. Too bad your company didn't just give you a standard Christmas bonus so that you don't have to be a "lucky one". Usually the bonus is bigger and generally a given if the company is profitable for the year. That's how my company does it.

I received a Christmas bonus this year, a free movie rental from Movie Gallery. I was very happy to receive it since my boss didn't have to get me anything.

My company does give Christmas bonuses, but not for my position. We make bonus every paycheck and then we get a lot of cash incentives. Our company this year made 148 million profit.. so not bad.

There are 775 total employees in this company.
