double edged sword? How many of the posters on this thread vote democrat?

Or do I even dare ask that offensive question?

Oops?

As I sit here marvelling at my latest race care model, wondering why racing turns me on more than the women these days.

Enough said.

hmmmm...that is a good point..and I would have to admit I have used that word several times but you have to understand it carries only the meaning that it is meant to be used under...does that make sense? I don't think ANYONE here would use that word in any other context than that to stress the fact that either a car took full and absolute advantage of another...or that some owner literally "killed" someone else in a race"......words are words and they will all have different meanings...vocabulary was meant to be used in schools.....

I think it was funny when you couldn't say "ass", but you could say "jackass". Anyhow stop using "kill" and "rape". Use "reamed" instead.

i.e. I got "reamed" in the "ass" when I bought my S2000 because I got it in '99.

Also, let's not listen to "rap" either. I don't like it and it is "e" short of "rape". Listen to gregorian chant instead.

I'm sorry if it sounded that way. It was just an early attempt to counter people saying I didn't know what I was talking about because I hadn't been involved with it. I've been right in the middle of those types of situations and the victims weren't nearly as put off by the word rape as others here seem to think they might be.

I guess I just get sick of others people always worrying about if someones rights were violated all the time. It's just a word after all.

I don't usually comment on these topics, but that one line struck a chord. Too much value in words?? I sincerely hope you didn't mean that literally. There was a time when words were sufficient to bind a contract. Today words are tossed around haphazardly, it seems. Words are the only thing that I have to communicate with you, so I'd like to think there's some value in it.

Sorry, not meant to be a flame or a soapbox speech. It's just that I see language (especially in the US) degrading almost daily and it's sad to watch.
