I rarely use the word "rape" because it sounds unnatural to me out of the obvious context, but I do promote using words to their fullest potential in most instances. In the case of this particular word I probably wouldn't use it out of the obvious context for the reasons already stated, I just wanted to argue a point which I see to be valid.
