I had to pull an 20 hour day last year and had a Red Bull, mind you I am not a big caffeine drinker. I was so wide awake and productive it was amazing.

Green tea

If you can't hassle with making the drink you can get the extract in capsule form.

I used this last year to pull all-nighters studying (dont recommend doing those). But it usually takes about 30-45 minutes for me to start feeling the Red Bull.

It tastes like a** at first, but then you get used to it. My heart would start beating faster, just an fyi if you have a heart condition

I like Excedrin, the headache medicine. It has Acetometaphine (Tylenol) and cafeine. It'll keep you awake and make you feel a little happy. If you can find some Xanex (perscription), and take it with the excedrin, that's the perfect combo in my opinion.

Monster Lo-Carb is my fuel of choice. . . it's an energy drink (like Red Bull) but is a lot less tasting than others. Pair it with a little water, and you're set.

I've found that it's not just a matter of Caffeine, but also the Vit. B complex in energy drinks that really 'makes my day.' So, have some Vitamins handy as well if you can.

BTW, if you're Cannonballing - try to do it with two drivers. Bonus if you can get it south of about 37 hours (allowing for traffic).

Watch the apple intake... its not called "the-green-apple-splatters" for nothing.

I would rather be pulling off to piss every 2 hours, than to shit my brains out every 2 exits.

I absolutely LOVe Bawls for staying away. It doesn't give that tweaky, nervous feeling that most caffeinated products do. It's more of a "holy sh1t, look at the time. I can't believe I'm STLL not tired!" feel. It may be tough to find in your area though. We only have a coulpe places aruond here that sell it (Rochester, NY).

ha, bawls is pretty freaking good. It's the guarana in it that makes it taste so much better than any other energy drink. Anyone remember the old pepsi produced drink JOSTA?

This is a little known fact - Eating an apple in the morning wakes you up more than coffee, plus you won't be pulling over to pee every 10 minutes like you would with coffee
True, but the fiber in apples will have taking a crap every hour! Of course that would keep me awake too!
