^^ I consider obesity in some cases a disease. I know people who eat extremely healthy, exercise, and are still over weight.

Why? Either they have thyroid issues or it's just genetic and they find it extremely hard to lose the weight. You don't have to eat unhealthy junk food to be over weight.

Weight is just a numbers came. You eat more calories than you burn off and you will gain weight. Do the reverse and you will lose weight. Some people just have a harder time because of their metabolism.

Whats with the racist comment Bass?

If you're not mature or intelligent enough to handle an online conservation then don't click.

Not really. Just cause you eat less than you spend does NOT mean you will lose. If the required amount of calories needed is 3000 for a given person and that person eats a pizza thats about 2500 calories once a day, they WILL NOT lose weight.

In addition, there is a difference between losing weight and losing fat. Most of these stories you see on TV about these happy people losing over 100 lbs. They're just smaller fat people.

Obesity in my opinion in any case is NEVER a disease. If it's genetic there are still ways to manipulate training and diet to lose weight. If it's a thyroid issue, there are precription medication to help with that.

you're right.. that was bad - i'm sorry

however your comment was just as racist when you state "Americans are starting to consider obesity as a "disease"

walk a mile in someone else's shoes before casting judgement

By using Americans, I am refering to the people living in the United States, white, black, asian, hispanic, male, female, etc not as a specific racial demographic.

Obesity is not the result of slow metabolism, bad genetics, or a physical issue but rather a lifestyle choice. Despite xyz condition or excuse, the fat person choose to eat too much, eat unhealthy, go to McDonald's or BK too often, choose to not exercise, etc. Its no one's fault but their own. Once they recognize this and stop pointing the finger of blame elsewhere, they can choose a better lifestye to lose weight and get in shape.

what did deter me from eating there was that wendys thing in the chili...ever since it happend i've had only 2 burgers and that was from sonic which isnt that healthy but just pointing out where i went lol
The news is that she may have put the fake finger in her own chili to start up a lawsuit. And Now she's backing out of her lawsuit because police found records of multiple bogus lawsuits from her against other major corps.

and vice versa. I have seem many examples in first hand. Genetic (metabolism) is not a sole factor by any means, it does play a big role for some or many people.
