sorry about how long this is......

I ordered VOLK wheels for my cobra mustang back in march.... i was told 2-3 months..... was billed in full by june... wheels finally showed up in late august.....(over 5.5 months from original order date).... they were not drilled correctly and would not fit my car.....

the place where I bought them (used to be a sponsored vendor on this site) said they would have to eat the tires, so if I could use the tires, get them dismounted and buy them.......so i did, to be a decent guy.....

when i did that, NTB left these little tiny marks on the inside of the wheels....

Now there is a lifelong dispute with NTB and this vendor about how NTB "RUINED" these wheels and they want NTB to buy the wheels!!!!! And of course the vendor is holding my $ hostage until this is resolved....... it has now been almost a full month since I sent back the wheels and they are still pissing around with NTB and not paying me back

I will be racing against the vendor's team, so I don't really care to get tapped for grudge reasons, but........

I was trying to be patient and politically correct...but it has been forever, and they owe me $2500!!!!! The wheels actually do not fit any car correctly except a mustang, but they need redrilled to make the holes bigger.....so the wheels need 'Rework' as it is.... i don't see what the big deal is about a few tiny nicks on the back of the wheel where no one would ever see them...?

do I talk to the attorney general in their state? wait it out? or just dispute it with my credit card company and see where the dust settles?

Supposedly there are 4 of these on each wheel..... on the back though, where brake dust would cover them up within the first 20 minute of driving!

I think they should just give you your money back and take a loss, they take that risk when they have you take the tires off, you are a customer and was mislead and you are being too nice to them!

It seems they want to make more of a deal about a few small scratches AS a result of thier mistake than the mistake they make in the first place. Keep fighting. Use all resources you have to, but don't give them any consideration anymore.

I am glad you guys agree.... this thing has drug on forever, and the vendor is just trying (in my opinion) to get out of the wheels no matter how.

Since the wheels need redrilled before they will fit anything, i think it is a moot point about the few little nicks on the back....plus the fact that they are on the back and completely out of sight even when clean.....let alone after a few stops when the brake dust will cover them.

I am not even sure why I am still involved...

This is what you get from buying from a bunch of hicks! Just kidding, that's just bad customer service. I would demand my money back immediately. I assume you didn't charge it? Can't you go to the cc company if it's still within 6 months?

since I will be racing against them, i thought I would be the nice guy.....which by the way, I am learning my lessons on being the nice guy....NICE GUYS GET ED!!!!.

I was a nice guy and didn't just dispute the thing from the beginning, then I was a nice guy in buying the tires which caused this last round of stupidity!!!!!!!

I did talk to my credit card company about the "dispute".... i was hoping to get it done the right way!

Yea, that's what happens when you're a nice guy. Trust me, I know it. You gotta be selfish all the time and think about #1! Hope everything gets resolved.
