First internet filters proposals, smoking bans, no more display of cigarettes in store, massive taxation on alcohol and cigarettes (up to 20 USD per pack), alcohol is the same. Mandatory VSA for all new vehicles made in the country as of this year, carbon taxation scheme. Where has the basic liberty of choice gone? Sure smoking is bad for your health but what is this going to do anyway? Increase the sales of metal cigarette holders. Bravo government. I'm sure this tax revenue will be put back into healthcare... NOT.

I'm with you brah. Not that I live there, but New York implemented many similar policies.... it's not going over too well. However in the link you provided, I couldn't give two shits if my packaging is electric piss yellow with rainbows flying around Barneys groin. As long as it hits the same.

p.s. At least your navy pays for boob jobs

As many awesome bands Australia has I am surprised by this. I figured Australia was the coolest place to be, I've always wanted to be there. Until teleporting is invented it will probably only get worse since your country is so far out

America is the same, losing our liberty everyday. Constitution is non-existent here.
I may be going to Australia late August/September.

i wont visit austrailia because of the ridiculous laws in place. mainly the gun laws, crime skyrocketed when the gun ban came into play and i dont want to vacation somewhere dangerous. same reason i wont take the 3 hr flight to mexico.

here in the US our constitution is dwindling away. there are major infringements on most of our basic constitutional rights.

leave the country if your fed up with their policies. ill be leaving america soon.

I also think I might leave America in a 4-5 year span due to my wife being from another country.

I've had serious considerations of the possibility of returning back to "blood home" in Norway or Germany.

Good, don't let the door hit you in the asses on the way out....sorry couldn't resist As for Australia being a nanny state, they are trying to be like their mother country of England, where the government wants to control its subject's everyday lives.
