If you would have read his post, he paid $30,000 for a Supra.

High five for reading comprehension.
No, he didn't SAY he paid $30K for it. He said he SAVED up $30K in 15 months. He could've paid 25K, 20K, 35K, etc. for it. He IMPLIED indirectly that he used that money to buy the car but did not specify how much it was. He could've paid less than 30K for the car and had some change left, or he could've paid 30K plus finance if the price was higher.

High-five for simple thinking!

Anyways, in 15 months I was able to save about $30k in cash.

haha nope. for some reason all my cars were paid in full, i honestly don't really remember where the money came from. This included a 97 saleen and the current s2k. I owned a motorcycle alongside these two as well.

And no, mommy and daddy (both RIP), did NOT help me. I started working when i was 15 at minimum wage jobs. lol.

During my first year of college (and second to last ), my dad offered to match every dollar I saved for my first car. I spent that whole summer alone at my house, so I had to fend for myself. I did a bunch of stupid things to save a buck but what I remember the most is walking a mile to my friend's house whenever I had to take a dump to use his toilet so I wouldn't have to spend money on toilet paper.

You would've been better off using your shower as a makeshift bidet.
