Whats the price of gas this week?
yeah, nearest gas station to my place is 2.75 for premium.
You people suck with your low gas prices...it costs me more than 30 dollars now to fill my accord with regular (2.20-2.35). I'm driving like a nanny to save gas.

OK everybody hold on to your chairs! I just moved to Belgium about a month ago, and my S2000 arrived last week.
The price of super plus 98 octane (93 US) is 1.09 euro a liter 4.12 euro a gallon, convert that to dollars and it comes up to roughly $5.02 a gallon.
$2 a gallon dosn't sound so bad now does it?
Needless to say, Excursions, Hummers, and Suberbans aren't hot sellers.

Well, so far I am feeling pretty good about the prices around here, but I live just 60 or so miles south of the refineries in Bradford, Pa., so I would expect lower prices.

Here in my home town, the economy is based on the oil and petrochemical industries. We've got a British Petrolium (old Amoco) plant here that's one of the biggest producers of gasoline in the country. We've also got a Marathon plant that's somewhat smaller but very active as far as I know. The problem is, we don't have BP or Marathon gas stations in the Houston / Galveston area.
Houston's got Exxon, Shell, Chevron, and probably others all down the east side and I've seen many years when my Aunt and Uncle in the St. Louis area were paying anywhere from .05 to .15 / gallon *less* than we were locally for the same brands and we've got the blasted refineries right here in our back yards.
Drive Safe,
Steve R.
