I've seen $2 bills from time to time, whats the story behind it? how come its not abundant like $1, $5, $10, $20, etc?

I got about 40 or so dollars in $2 bills, my grandfather used to give one to all his grandchildren on their birthdays.


I also know of a couple strip clubs that require you to swap all your tipping cash for $2 bills.

I tried to pay for something at a liquor store with a $2 bill and the clerk thought it was a fake and wouldn't accept it.

They're good at strip clubs. From far away, it looks like a $20, and the strippers will be all over you...

You can go to any bank and ask for some - they're pretty common believe it or not, or at least around me they are. I like to pay with them and confuse people.
