Same here. I had a great-aunt that used to give them to me on my b-day & Christmas. I thought they were special, so I collected them. A lot of people take them to the horse track, since the minimum bet is $2.

 

Before direct-deposit, I used to request whatever $2 bills the teller had in their drawer whenever I deposited my paycheck.

 

There's also a good saying,
'as queer as a 2$ bill.'
