our work hands out $20-30 in $2 bills every 3 months to everyone as long as we don't have any lost-time accidents. i use them for lunch money then. you can get the at any bank if you ask, they're not that rare.
some kid standing in front of me at Burger King one time was so amazed that i had one that he wanted to trade me $1s for it. whatever dude...

It failed because people collected them instead of spending them. paper curency just doesn't last long and i guess it's tough to get enough into circulation, coins last for eve
ban the penny (now useless i throw them away, they accumulate like trash in my car, my office desk and at home).
start makinga coin for the dollar and the 2 dollar bill, the amount of money we would save in printing and anti counterfitting is staggering.
