Hand layered Carbon around a premoulded foam core - the same procedures used on our bicycle wheels and racing components. We use only the finest epoxy resin system and 550,000 psi tensile Carbon Fiber. The Carbon Fiber is custom woven for Dynamic Composites Inc. in a 2x2 twill pattern. This is absolutely the nicest looking weave, as seen in Indy cars and Fighter planes.

I was watching the discovery chanel last night and saw a bit on this guy that is making carbon fiber cello's! Me being the "home audio enthusiast" myself was a bit skeptical at 1st, but it has actually gotten some very good reviews from others that play these classical instruments. They're going for around 4.5g's a pop compared to instruments costing MANY thousands of dollars more and supposed to sound THAT good!

I'd love to hear one in person to see what type of tonality, timbre, and presence it has.

It might turn out to be a bit more popular than a CF toilet seat! LOL

Indy cars and fighter planes have CF toilet seats? I didn't even know they had toilets...

 

 

That CF seat has been around at least a couple of years, price has gone down some in that time.
