Default Where to meet people?

I just broke up with my girlfriend 3 weeks ago... I'm 24 graduated college in June.. working full time IN A CUBICLE..

all my life, I've been meeting girls at school... where do I turn now? It's a dumb question because if I am to meet someone, I will meet them somewhere sometime but just want to know experience from people who's been here...

my friends who didn't go to college, always asked me for hookups... and then find girlfriends through me or other friends in school or their high school friends.. but I want to meet someone on my own..

I just wanna see what are the possible mating places... where I can say and

Just hang out with friends more. They may know someone who knows someone and so on and so on. That's how I met my girl of 9 months.

After I broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years, I thought it would be impossible to meet someone. Never works going to the bars every weekend. I just hung out with a lot of my friends as often as I could. Took my mind off of girls as well. And that's when it happened.

My girl is the sister of a friend of a friend.

It's tought once you're out of school. Try throwing a party or two and have an open invite. That way your friends that work at other places bring their friends that work at other places, etc.

You could stay active in your Alumni programs and continue to meet people through school association. Take a class in something you are interested in, photography, cooking, etc. Lots of women take classes, either alone or with friends. Get outdoors on the weekends and evenings.

Just be a nice guy, be friendly and talk to people.

You never know when or where you will meet someone you connect with... the best advice is to stop looking for it, but at the same time be 'out there' so it can find you!

Maybe he actually meant 'mating places'! ...Or maybe it was a Freudian slip.
