I was just in WalMart and I walked by a huge SPAM display. I thought SPAM cost about 99 cents a can. It was $1.88 a can-- ----I haven't eaten SPAM in years.

Spam rocks. A plate lunch from L&L and for dessert some Malasadas from Leonard's. Life don't get better than that.

i find it odd that people who have never tasted spam would, without hessitation, claim that spam is "gross" and "disgusting". yes, i agree that spam straight out of the box has an odd taste, but cook it up via frying, etc. and i'm sure you won't think the stuff is half bad. besides, spam is just another variety of procesed meat out of hundreds of others out there. ever had hotdogs, or bologna, or 75% of the deli meats out there?? they're chopped up meat, with spices, and chemicals. not only that, but anything you buy at the grocery store aside from produce and raw meat are processed in one form or another with chemicals.

btw, i miss the oldschool spam with the gellatin of translucent fat around the edges...


oh yeah, anyone had ramen with fried spam and eggs?? yum...

 

Well I used to eat Spam but I can't anymore. The sodium content is too high and it takes too much of my daily allowance to eat any.
