I read somewhere that one of the reasons to have hair is to help perspiration evaporate more quickly by giving it more surface area on which to spread out. This may help with cooling, and with disseminating one's scent, presumably useful in attracting a mate.

Eyebrows are necessary for expressing anger , sadness , and skepticism (here best employed one at a time).

Hair on your head has but one scientifically recognized purpose: to swish whilst driving with the top down.
