I don't care how people talk (or write), but if my doctor ever says "I don't see no cancer cells", I'm switching doctors.

I think the incomprehensible language becomes a problem when you're relying on it for accurate communication. It could have serious consequences, monetary or otherwise.

it's all about subculture.

when i studied "vietnamese for law enforcement" they told us that north and south vietnamese languages were slightly different, and that's accepted.

there are many different subcultures in N.A., english evolves differently in different areas. i see noone has commented on how incorrect the canadian "eh?" is, or how a lot of them accentuate the end of the sentance and make it sound like a question. you seem to be tolerant of canadian language subculture, but not "blue collar".


some of you should know about intolerance.
