I have the dolt make 200 copies for me at STAPLES..... Of course he serves the lady behind me first (WTF) because she was just there to pick something up.....anyway...he pushes the button and watches the ****ing machine until about 180 copies (3 minutes or so)....then he finally notices the guy behind me. (who was originally behind the lady)....just as he starts to help that guy, my ****ing copies are done..... does he notice? Hell no! So after a minute or two, I have to interupt those 2 to get my copies and he then gives me an additude.

Apparently the employement market is so bad that what used to labled "unemployable" has now become "management"?

Ok...so maybe it is not everyone, but....

How many McDonalds workers can actually take your order, and take the next person's order while yours is cooking (ALWAYS GET A SPECIAL ORDER AT McDonalds..ie..no onions, or no ketchup, etc... at least you know there won't be too much mold on it)...

I always get the moron who takes my order then stands there for the full 4-5 minutes while they custom make my NO Onion sandwhich (ie..scrape off onions of 3 hour old big mac)as if it would be way to complex to help that next guy.... everyone has 30 minutes to waste in line!

But I'm down with you about idiots...it's amazing anything gets done in this country.

 

yesterday i was leaving for the track at 530am...got gas, now looking for coffee. does the gas station have it? no. the other gas stations at the corner are both closed. go to jack n the box. NO COFFEE. instead of the guy coming to tell me there's not coffee, he smiles as i watch him start to brew a pot. I drive away.

 

This is just life, people who have work complain that it's overworked and underpaid. People who don't have work complain about people who have work not knowing how to appreciate it. I can highly understand what all this jargon means, life sux when you need to go out there to earn a decent living.

It is not just you and that place.

I went to a store Sunday, walked immediately to the merchandise I wanted and carried it to the lone check out line in just thirty seconds. Three people were in front of me. There were two employees fooling with the register.. for five minutes.

Finally one decides she better open an other register and we all move over, but now there are four people in front of me. I wait patiently for another five minutes to get to the front.

Just as I put down the merchandise the clerk announces to me that this register is now broken and I will have to move over to the other that is now operating with a line of four more people!

All the stuff I had in my hands landed on the floor as I walked out. Pissed!

 

when i had shitty jobs (bagging groceries, shortorder cook, busboy, etc...) we worked.... most of the time, we had a decent boss who would make you work...you earned your $, and i suppose you could be proud.

Geez... now everyone is sooo damned stupid and annoying..."i like have to go to school, and work like 15 hours a week at this place...it totally sucks"... YA, well what the hell do you think the rest of us did ....we worked and went to school
