Default Will Steve Jobs every overtake Bill Gates?

I'm having a big debate with a buddy of mine. He is convinced Steve Jobs' net worth will overtake Bill Gates. I say that is near impossible. My opinions is not to put down the company's obvious innovation and ingenuity.

Currenty: Bill Gates--> 50Billion
Steve Jobs--> 5Billion

His rationale is that Bill Gates net worth would have to plummet and Jobs' would have to sky rocket.

No, pop culture and ad campaigns don't matter. Businesses run on Windows and programs are built to run on their OS.

The accounting world lives in Excel and Access. Most of the businessmen I work with carry PDAs other than the iPhone.

There would have to be a fundamental shift in the OS that fortune 500s use. So far I'd say it isn't likely.

Only way it happens is if Bill gives all his money away, which he's working on doing right now.
