Apple probably spends more than that on toilet paper every day, not that big of a deal. They'll probably settle for half.

 

Wow...she has a chance of winning if there are reports of other people walking into the glass at other Apple stores, and even then, only if the number is high enough to warrant action by Apple (say 3%-5%). If Apple was aware of said 'danger' and did nothing of it, then she might win. If Apple did so something, like keep the doors open during the day (unless weather conditions made that impossible), or put up props by the windows, then she has no suit. If nothing else, Apple will probably pay medical bills and a small amount of compensation. I don't see Apple in the wrong here but it all depends on how her case comes across.

 

what ever happened to people realizing that they are idiots....like walking into a door. You can blame noone but yourself for doing that. Noone pushed her into the invisible door. Same with spilling hot coffee on your lap, they did it not McD's. Thats whats wrong with our country. So If i fall on my ass and break a bone should I sue Mother Nature...same concept.

 

Please nigga, 83 yrs old.can't have perfect vision like she claims, if she did well she wouldn't hit the glass, they ain't that clean... What the hell is she gonna do at her 83 yrs with that much money anyways??

 

Newsflash to some of you: If you own property, you are on the hook if someone gets injured on your property. You don't get to argue "But they're an idiot!" Part of the responsibility of owning property. And the reason why people buy homeowners policies. If you can't handle it, you aren't ready for that responsibility.

 

She states she's very active as she still manages to drive a vehicle. That's like saying you didn't see the stop sign so you ran it and hit something/someone. You know she's in it for the money and exactly why she's going to court for it, because they can't argue you're stupid for that. You gotta fight fire with fire, I tip my hat to her. Nonetheless I find it hilarious and sad to see another one of these lawsuits.

Btw has anyone ever seen a person bump into a glass window? I've witnessed it once at my work and I find it to be the most hilarious thing ever. I just can't decide if the sound of hitting a glass window or the thought of walking into a glass window is funny.
