Im Persian! hence the name Cyrus. i made a thread a while back asking who was persian too. haha.

What's so interesting is none of the Persians on this board is from LA. I feel so left out here. Somethings so weird and fishy about that. What do you guys make of it?

I speak some, but can't spell. I was engaged to a Persian. Persian sounds much softer/less harsh than Iranian due to current US/Iran relations (my own personal opinion).
Persian girls/women are very beautiful. Case in point, rubyrashel. But I'm surprised, I thought most Persians are "restricted" due to religion, unlike ruby's avatar? Maybe I just had more of the "old school" Persian girl...
shish kabob is a Persian word. shish means 6, so shish kabob means there are 6 ingredients on the kabob screwer: meat/veg/etc. Or that's what I was told.
