better runner...my legs look fine I think but whatever hehe....

inherently I think better runner would have better legs so its all gravy...but yea I would rather get better running than have perfect lookin legs

In that case, nothing will benefit you more than running - The best way to get good at anything athletic is to keep practicing. You might find that heavy workouts at the gym will make it difficult to run the following few days. Take it light with the lifting until your muscles are "broken in".

I've worked my legs to the point of not being able to walk a couple of days later because I didn't work up slowly. Just one gradual step at a time...
