I'm feeling really sick about this...

After the first plane hit I called the wife of one of my good friends who was on gov. emergency task force and she told me that they knew the there were others hijacked. Minutes later i saw the second plane crash in.

I know people in the towers, I know people out in pittsburg were the 4th went down.

I've just been staring at the tv all day trying to find out whats going on.

locally the colleges, businesses and even banks are closed.

Oh my God, I just pray my friends are ok. and it doesnt look like it they will be. I feel so sick about this.

i just want to vomit

September 11 is the date of both the signing of the Camp David accords and the assassination of Anwar Sadat.

I think we should hit every known terrorist camp in the Middle East with every aircraft and cruise missile we've got. If someone like Syria doesn't like us violating its airspace, guess what, we'll have the Tennessee, Alaska, and Alabama parked in the Indian Ocean in 100 feet of water. Each boat (That's how they refer to subs) has 24-32 Trident IIs, each with 10 MIRV superaccurate D5 warheads, retargeted, gyros screwed down. Just say the word Syria, and you will cease to exist (just like WTC).

From this point forward our lives are forever different. Pray for everyone involved.

OMG! When I frist saw it on TV, I though it was a movie. I mean people running away from the clouds of smoke and debree was unreal. And the plane crushing in to the building.. It's a sad day.

This is a painful day. This event will be a time marker for us just like the death of JFK - you will remember where you were when you heard the news. As much as it discourages me to know there are people in the world who hurt others, I am blessed to observe how we pull together during crisis.

In my area (near Los Angeles) we are canceling many of our activities for the day and evening and beginning to think how we can be helpful. I've already heard from people who are directly affected - people with family in the trade center buildings and Pentagon. Most have been accounted for, but a few haven't.

We are opening our church tonight at 7:30 for a community prayer time. This will not be our church event; it will be an event for the community. I'm sure other groups will do the same. No doubt, we will have people here who are not affiliated with our church and never will be. We are glad to be fortunate enough to have facilities that are good for this purpose.

We are calling everyone that we know to find out how they are affected. It's heartbreaking to think of how tough that would be if you were in the NYC or Pentagon area.

I agree with the posts encouraging us to go on with business. If we stop in our tracks we are just letting terrorists have their way. It is for sure that America is more than a hand full of big buildings. This kind of thing just stirs us to action.

Be sure to take a moment today to remember how blessed we are. Remember those who have lost friends and loved ones. Some families will never be the same.

Hope no one takes offence at this post. It's not meant to promote any particular view or religion.
