They probably won't say anything on that flight because that's the one that hit the Pentagon.

 

I saw the plane crash into the World Trade Center this morning from my office!!

The 2nd plane flew over my office (almost hit it) and then crashed into the 2WTC right in front of me.

I have to say there are mixed emotions here. Personally, I was first scared, then sad and now I'm angry. I have many friends working at the World Trade Center whom I have not received a response.

As many have stated, we should focus our energy on saving the victims and restoring control. Revenge is not the answer. However, I'm in full support to stop terrorists now!!!

Please pray for my friends in NYC.......

This is a dark, dark day for humanity.

 

Slashdot reports that 200 NYC firefighters are missing or dead in the collapse of the WTC. Also, 50 flights are still in the air; 2 of those flights can not be contacted.

Reportedly, Yassir Arafat has denied responsibility and called the attack "unbelievable".

 

I'm ok. Watched the whole thing with my own eyes. Totally unreal. Totally surreal. Many, many people died today.

On a more serious note, I just got an email from a friend of mine that used to work in WTC. He works for my old company, it sounds like they now had an office in the WTC.

in the month, I had planned to be in the World Trade Towers today at a
NABE
conference that is happening today. We have several people at that
conference (as well as many of our clients and former employees) and
usually
I am at the NABE meeting. We also have an office on the 11th floor.
One of
our people, Adrianne, called in and told us she got out but lost a shoe
in
the crowds, cut her foot but got on the ferry and got across the river
and
watched the tower collapse as she got off the ferry in Jersey. I was
next
door in 1993 and walked down 52 flights in the dark and I am so happy I
don't work there anymore.
