I was literally 3 blocks away from it all... I go to school there... I heard an airplane then a loud "BOOM" then my entire school shook, I then looked outside and there was a hole in the world trade center... as I was looking outside I heard another "BOOM" then we turned on the tv in the classroom and we heard the other building was hit... we then evacuated the entire area... totay I have seen things that most people will never see in a lifetime... I have seen grown FBI agents and police officers cry... I have seen people fall to their deaths... I have seen sky scrapers crumble... public transportation is at a standstill... all before the age of 17... I saw, I heard, I felt it all... and all of it is just unreal... its still sinking in that the rest of my school and myself were just 3 blocks away from never seeing an S2K again...... I have no idea what to do now but wait.........

Actually, I don't think the towers were made to take a hit from a 707...the first was hit by a 737 which is a MUCH smaller aircraft...I used to work on KC-135(military model of the 707)...

 

May God comfort those thousands of families that will be impacted by this insanity. The worst devastation always comes from people who are filled with insane righteousness. I suspect these assholes who committed suicide were probably thinking it was for a grand cause. It's unbelieveable how one can come to that kind of logic to commit such a crime against innocent people. Cool heads must prevail now. We need to pray. We need to give blood. We need to remain calm - there is already reports of panic buying of gasoline here in Michigan. What a sad day.

Hey all,

I've been watching the news all day from work and here's the summary up till now:

1) Both of the World Trade Centers in NY have collapsed. Engineers speculate that it collapsed from the heat of the flames from jet fuel melting the steel beams supporting the the buildings. They collapsed aprox. 1 hour after being struck by the airplanes. I saw on the news that some guy on the 107th floor made it down alive, so hopefully many were able to escape.

2) The 3rd plane struck the Pentagon shortly after the crashes in New York. All passengers in all 3 planes are most likely dead.
I believe the 157 passengers from the first two planes combined and 58 from the 3rd plane.

3) A fourth plane crashed also but not too much detail was given on that one. I do not believe it crashed into any landmarks.

4) A fifth plane is still flying somewhere but they are not willing to give too much detail on that one.

I also heard not too long ago that some passengers in the airplanes were able to call out...

The hijackers used box cutting knives to drives passengers and crew to the back of the plane. Many people were stabbed.

One flight attendant was able to give authorities the seat location of one of the hijackers.

I sure hope we find out who did this!

 

The flight that went down in Penn. apparently never made it to its final destination. There could have been possible heros on that flight that heroically sacrificed themselves. We might never know what happened on that flight and how many they saved.

May they rest in peace.

 

If that report is true, this could be a HUGE help in determining who was responsible......
